The front of the dress is also cut slightly shorter then the back so its a midi length from the front and to the ankle (or lower depending on your height) at the back

Even with these small defects the dress is remarkably sound and shockingly beautiful

This is an amazing example of Geoffrey Beene's work during this time period and it is one of the best made dresses from this time period I have seen in a while

I went through the collections and narrowed it down to the Spring 2005 as the best possible on that this could be from. It has that same backless, tie, floral feel. This one combines more pf the pleated fabric that has become his signature then the more literal flower pieces shown on the runway. The top is a bright pink and it is made out of what feel like a light cotton
